For some time now and for several reasons, including changes in global risks, our world is about the prevalence of challenges we’re going through that have been best described as mental health issues.

To ease our understanding, it’s best in my opinion, to consider it as “the state of one’s mind” or the “conditions that make one think too hard”.

Thankfully, we all appreciate the power of the Holy Spirit which calms and fulfils us daily.

However, this write-up is not only about what we’re doing with ourselves but also what we’re doing to assist others through this season.

Among many things you can do especially setting some money aside for critical moments, you know you can buy insurance to cover the unexpected events. The reasons you’ll do this are:

• To help others who may not know how to handle crisis attributed to mental health; and

• To help yourself hold through when confronted with the challenges others face.

As you will agree, many of us understand that football is just a game, which you win some times and lose at other times, yet for some, the pain can lead to devastating health issues, both mental and physical.

This is therefore my humble call-to-action for us to help those among us who may not be able to handle the outcome of our next match on Monday evening.

And this is not about liking or not liking football, it is about helping someone you know cannot help himself or herself.

Health Insurance, Individual Life Assurance and Personal Accident Insurance are some of the appropriate coverages for a season like this.

Individual Life Assurance policies that have run for a minimum of two years even pay benefits where the policyholder committed suicide. Insurance has been designed to work for us but we hesitate because of painful experiences caused mostly by wrong policy wordings.

Go online now to get more information about the insurance policies that can help us receive compensation when mental health issues crystallize.

Knowing that you can insure your lives and those of loved ones as well as your assets, and failing to do so until something goes wrong can be even more excruciating.

Mental health is real, let’s pay attention when we need to.

The game next Monday is just a game but peace of mind is necessary for the period after it.

A stakeholder recently said to me “somehow we are covered by one insurance or the other” and I agree.

Let’s prepare to always have peace of mind!

I remain…

Assuredly Yours,
